Peer Review Process

International Journal of Research in Business and Management shall not accept or publish manuscripts in its journal without prior peer review. There shall be a review process of manuscripts by one or more independent referees who are conversant in the pertinent subject area.

Authors should strive for maximum clarity of expression, bearing in mind that the purpose of publication is the disclosure of technical knowledge and that an excessively complex or poorly written presentation can only obscure the significance of the work presented. Material which is not essential to the continuity of the text (e.g., proofs, derivations, or calculations) be placed in Appendices

The editor evaluates the recommendation and notifies the author of the manuscript status. The manuscript may be:

  • Accepted for publication as is
  • Accepted for publication with minor changes, with no re-review necessary
  • Accepted for publication after substantial revision and additional review
  • Rejected

The comments of the anonymous reviewers will be forwarded to the authors, and when the authors are ready to submit their revised manuscript, read the comments of the editors and reviewers, and respond to them by telling what modifications they have made in their manuscript or why they have not made the suggested changes.

Material which has been previously copyrighted, published, or accepted for publication will not be considered for publication in the journals.

The review process shall ensure that all authors have equal opportunity for publication of their papers. Acceptance and scheduling of publication of papers in these periodicals shall not be impeded by added criteria and procedures beyond those contained in the review process.

The editorial board is highly committed to the quick review process of the paper, but not with the sacrifice of the right judgment of a paper. The review process takes maximum two weeks.

Q: Who is the publisher of IJRBM?

Q: What is the publication frequency?

IJRBM is Quarterly journal. It publishes four issues per Year.

Q: What is the acceptance rate of papers?
25% –35%.

Q: How can I apply for funding of my research?

Currently, we do not accept applications from individual researchers. We usually provide the funds to existing research projects managed by universities or research institutions.

Q: What’s your business model for journal publishing? Why do you have publication fees?

We follow the Gold Open Access way. This means that authors publish in our journals that provide immediate open access for readers to all articles on the publisher’s website. The readers pay nothing, while authors (or their institutions or funders) pay a publishing fee to maintain the journal operation.

Q: When will I receive an acknowledgment email for my submission?

Paper submissions are normally acknowledged within 24 hours. In case you do not receive any acknowledgment for a submitted paper, kindly drop us an email at  editor@ijrbmnet.com

Q: Can you waive or reduce the publication fee?

We charge authors a publication fee for each article they publish. This fee helps the open-access journals to cover their operational expenses. To avoid confusion and ensure fairness among customers, we do not waive or reduce publication fees to anyone, including the editorial board member and the author of the special issue.

Q: Is this journal published both in print and online versions?

Yes, IJRBM is published both in print and online versions. Author (s) will get a print copy with free of charge.

Q: Are IJRBM published articles available for free?

Yes, all the papers published by IJRBM are available for download for free. We are here to support the Open Access.

Submission Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the e-mail to the editor at editor@ijrbmnet.com

Authors are advised to follow the Author Guidelines in preparing the manuscript before submission.

 

Publication Terms:

Submitting your manuscript to International Journal of Research in Business and Management (IJRBM) means that your work has not been published before in any other journal, book or in a book chapter, be it printed or online (except in the form of an abstract or an academic thesis), that it is also not in any way under consideration for publication elsewhere, that the submitted manuscript has the permission for publication from all the authors in it and is approved from the responsible authorities where that work was carried out, and that, if accepted in IJRBM, will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in any language, without the prior consent of the publisher. The editors of IJRBM have the right to edit or to alter all contributions, but authors of the submitted work will receive testimony before the publication of their work in IJRBM.

As far as copyrights are concerned, they are retained by the authors of manuscripts published or to be published in IJRBM but with first publication rights granted to IJRBM. The journal or editors are not responsible for any successive use of the author(s) work. If so desired, it is the job of author (s) to bring an encroachment action.

Publication Process:

Manuscript Selection Criteria and Publication Process

After receiving author(s) manuscript, the editor will then send a confirmation e-mail to corresponding author (only) within one or two working days.

We believe that if a manuscript/article undergoes extensive review process, the quality of both article and journal can be maintained so keeping this in mind, we use double blind peer-review system in which identity of author(s) remain anonymous to the reviewers (and vice versa) to make the review process fair. The review process may take 1 week to 10 days.

Having received the review result from the reviewers, we will then send those results to the author via e-mail.

The authors Author will be notified about the possible date of publication (both online and print).
